Complete Finger Joint Plant for the manufacture of flange stock (web truss) and consisting of the following elements: ~~ Lumber Hoist (Dumper) with infeed (24\'). ~~ Un-scrambler System. ~~ Defecting Table (Infeed to FJ). ~~ FJ Equipment includes: 10\' Wide transfer table w/lugs on 12 - 16 in. or 24 in. centers; INDUSTRIAL model 9081 converted to a 3496 style Shaper with 30 HP motors on each shaper spindle; with automatic oil mist lubrication. ~~ APQUIP Glue Application Equipment; Trim Saws & Scoring Saws; Automatic Corner Feeder. ~~ Modified model 3550 Assembly System with: 40\' Assembly table; (2) crowders, each with 20 HP drive motors; flying cutoff saw assembly; landing table arranged for 48\' max. length stock. ~~ Includes: Motor control panel, sensors, and photo eyes. ~~ Semi-Automatic Cutterhead Grinder. ~~ 50\'x 40\' Drying table with power conveyors for moving product to Tension Tester. ~~ METRIGUARD In-line Tension Tester (50\' cap.); with control panel and auto-marking system. ~~ 100\' Power driven roller stacking system. ~~ WAGNER Moisture Meter system; 3-detector panels (never used.) ~~ (3) sets ACE CO. (1-1/8 in.) Feather Joint Cutters. ~~ (3) Pairs 6-bolt cutterheads. ~~ 6-Post setup stand, lock collars, high pressure grease guns, grinding wheel, pull-up tool, hook gauge. ~~ Quality Control equipment consisting of the following: SYSTEC UTS Tension Testing Machine with computer. ~~ FORNITEC Computer Program. ~~ CROWN MACHINE Pressure pot vessel. ~~ CROWN MACHINE De-Lamination Oven. ~~ Misc. QC materials including: Black light, scale, magnifying glass, calipers, and metal detector. ~~ Includes: 25 HP Dust Collection System with cyclone & bag house; 24\' lumber infeed conveyor system; (2) brass combs, (2) brackets; speed controllers on all major machines; many spare parts; etc. ~~ Machine completely reconditioned by BONFIELD INDUSTRIAL SERVICES and installed in Jan/2006; Halted production Aug/2007. ~~ NOTE: This system produced 2,000,000 linear feet of 2 in. x 3 in. flange stock per month based on (2) 40-hour shifts per week.
